Was I the only one here that was at the Twisted Sister gig at Adventure Land (aka the Duck Incident)?
Remember DISCO SUX!!!! ?
I was at the Twisted Sister event , when everyone was on top of the surrounding buildings? yes having a nice trippy on the ole' purple microdot ! Wow all these memories....Does anyone remember a band called Tara that used to play at Good Times in Commack? I briefly dated the bass player and have been trying to locate him.....
When I was a kid in the 60's my parents sent me to a Catholic day-camp named Camp Marydale in Farmingdale. Does anyone else remember it?
I was just thinking about Marydale yesterday. I went there for three summers in the early sixties. Believe it was off Rte 110 on Duryea Rd. Still remember how we lined up for the buses at the end of the day and got our "bug juice" , which was lemondae and a cookie while we waited to board. Good memories.
