Surrounding Harvard and MIT, no I do not question it. There is a lot more to Cambridge than that though, and I was including Somerville as well (really a more appropriate comparison) in there.

Seriously. The arts/culture/fair/festival etc scene in Somerville is miles ahead.

Of course. That said HOA dues take care of things in a timely manner and because they are larger customers they can get the work done cheaper.

Obviously you have to evaluate each condo differently and see what the dues cost and what they cover.

Quincy if you can find anything right now. With the Seaport rapidly becoming maxed out for land use, there is nowhere else to go but South.

In general better schools (or at least always were), bigger homes/larger yards, more recreational opportunities.
