How's that paying his bills working out for him now?

Yeah...Isn’t hilarious that a business owner has lost his livelihood for him and family. Not only that gym owner but many other small business owners like him that put years of blood, sweat, and tears to only see it go up in smoke. All due to King Charlie’s draconian lockdown. However, according to you and your left wing buddies ——— “Thata boy King Charlie you show him”...Just tells me a lot about you and your left wing buddies!

Nothing is funny about people losing their jobs or businesses. But please consider that 8,000 people have died in Massachusetts, despite these measures. Had we not done this, who knows how high the toll would have been because Boston was a hotspot.

The bottom line is jobs & businesses will return, lost lives won't.

Really and how many lives are destroyed due to economic hardship resulting in suicides, drug and alcohol addiction, broken marriages...etc,,,

Best current estimates of the virus’s IFR are .65% with first world healthcare.

Unless 43k+ MA residents died from OD, suicide, and deferred treatment ... then yes, one could argue it was the right trade off.

Several things, tough guy.

1. Most other gyms are expected to reopen.

2. It was the town of Oxford that shut this clown down, not the governor.

3. I did not vote for Charlie.

Great to quote such hypotheticals with zero substantiation. It's been 3 whole months of economic shutdown...with a state unemployment rate now of ~16%. And everyone knows it's temporary. How do you think Greece and Spain managed through prolonged periods of 25 - 30% unemployment rates?

I don’t know how they managed 25 -30% unemployment. However We’re not Greece or Spain and I don’t want to be like them..though Personally I rather be like Sweden that never had a lockdown and still survived!
