We are now officially living in a totalitarian state. I sure hope the owner of that gym wins multiple lawsuits against the government, the governor and the electric utility. RESIST

I can’t believe I voted for King Charlie....what a no good SOB he turned out to be!

Shocked Pikachu face for someone who thinks they are above the law and broadcast that across news. Reminds me of the idiots who deny the legitimacy of the government to tax and get hosed by the IRS.

Yeah I'm not really sure what he expected.

#1 - the owner has already LOST lawsuits against the government.
B: the governor has nothing to do with it
- He's been found in contempt of court
2) He's been ordered by court to close weeks ago
#A: The owner is a menace to society. He's a public health threat. He has been show to hold contempt to the rule of law. $1300 fines per day hasn't dissuaded him. Shutting of power and water hasn't dissuaded him.

Do you have any idea what a totalitarian state is??? All that's happening is that they are enforcing regulations during a pandemic, which the gym owner refused to abide by.

You can petition officials to have laws or regulations changed, engage in various forms of advocacy or activism, you can vote for officials who may change them. But you actually can't violate laws or regulations with the explanation that you disagree with them. Won't work. Never has worked. If that's all you needed to do, there would be no practical meaning of laws and regulations.

So far the protests have not led to a surge in infections. It's all about the mask usage, my friend. Of course, there's a significant fraction who inexplicably think about masks as a political symbol instead of a common sense health measure to prevent the spread of disease.

Long live King Charlie!

I wonder if OP felt a similar libertarian rage when Trump issued a ban on Chinese flights earlier this year? Different policies, same goals.

Also, I struggle to view someone with any legitimacy when they are known to use the term "moonbat". It's the language of cave dwelling trolls.

I think it is about time you take a long and deep thought to consider whether you really want to live in Massachusetts any longer. All of your previous posts show your continued disdain for how this state is run while the vast majority of the rest of us think it is quite efficiently run compared to others. We may not agree with every policy or initiative but we are not Libertarians either. We support our government for the most part. And seriously, totalitarian? Have you ever lived in Maoist China before? Just a little sneeze and you accuse someone of giving you the flu?

So a conservative snowflake thought he deserved special treatment by the law and is now facing the consequences? (Is this the correct use of your lingo? )

The funny thing is we’re only 2 weeks away from when gyms can reopen legally, right?
