Only received 12 inches at my place. I had to drive on Saturday so that added a little excitement.

I drove from Northampton up to Portland Maine and back on Sunday and the roads were very clear. On the way up, first thing in the morning, the fast lane on 495 and 95 still had some snow, but on the way home it was pretty much gone.

Now the salt and gunk that landed all over my car and windshield and made it very challenging to see was another story. Lots of snow in Portland too. We didn't have it too bad here in Western MA. Maybe 8"? I'm not sure.

GFS has another 16 inches for Boston and 20 for Worcester while Euro is all rain.

I really don't know what we got here in the end due to the drifting, but it was a lot. In some places it was to my waist. Stoughton, MA, just a couple of towns over, apparently had the highest snowfall total for the entire East Coast at 30.9 inches. https://www.masslive.com/springfield...ts-so-far.html

One thing I do have to note is that it is these sort of things that show how awesome your neighbors are. We have a snowblower but I just don't feel comfortable using it so while my husband was taking a well deserved nap at the end of his shift I was finishing up the sidewalk by hand and I had several neighbors stop to offer use of their snowblowers, see if I was OK, etc. It reminded me of hurricane days in my first place in Florida and really made me love where I live.
