If you ever spend a single night in Indianapolis or Columbus, you'd be singing a different tune!

Ohio drinks 30.1 gallons of beer per capita (21+) per year, Mass only 26 g/pp/yr. Mass is lower than the US average of 28.2.
Indiana is a little lower at 25.9 g/pp/yr.

LOL I was going to say, based on what I heard about Ohio State games they make us look like big time lightweights!

Also, until I left, everyone in my family had deep roots there. All the grandparents and great grandparents are in 2 cemeteries in Worcester.

Realistically, I could never afford to go back. Everything there is twice as expensive as what I’m used to.

There is plenty of bad stuff there, just like anywhere else. My stepson just paid over $400k for a run down farmhouse in Westport, after fleeing Holyoke because of the huge drug problem. Never in my life had I heard that they had to check the toilet paper rolls in public bathrooms for discarded needles.

My point is, they say you can’t go home again, and I think it’s true.
It could be worse..much worse. ever see 90 day fiance? Ronald from South Africa showed the electrified fences..not for dogs..people

Even in more affluent areas you can see drug use. Northampton City Hall has needle disposal areas in their public bathrooms.
