Sometimes it’s not about how fast the equity can build. It’s about forcing ourselves to put a big chunk of income in some (relatively safe) investment.

When we have a lot of extra cash, we spend a lot.

You're right, the behavioral hurdle can't be overestimated. I recommend to anyone to automate saving/investing as much as possible.

My daughter's friend is 7 and her mom doesn't think she likes school. She was like, that's fine if she doesn't like school and doesn't want to go to college, we'll just buy her a bakery someday if that's what she wants to do. lol. Ok.

I stand corrected, you only complained 5 times about parenting in a real estate thread. I notice you complain a lot on this forum. You always complain about illegals, females who take maternity leave, people who don't work remote, parents, etc. Try to see the brighter things in life. In general life is good.

Wow you must be having a bad day.

For the record I'm a female who has taken maternity leave twice.

How are all the top tier rated mortgage applicants feeling about having to pay higher rates to subsidize those with poor credit scores? Once again, those who work hard and are responsible with their finances/use of credit have to pay the price. This is akin to using taxpayer money to fund EBT cards for those who don't want to get off their behinds and get a job. They get stuff for free and the handouts keep on coming for these folks. Unbelievable....

I'm total BS right now. And the way this train wreck of an administration just snuck it through like that, just a total punch in the gut. Nobody with a credit score below 680 has ANY business buying a home in the first place.

You do know that 70% of people receiving snap benefits do have full time employment, and the majority of the rest work as well, right ?

The real crime is that someone can work full time and not earn enough to be eligible to receive these benefits, and that companies pay so very little and depend on public subsidies to do what they should be doing.

Total nonsense. We are at FULL employment and anybody with a pulse can get $18-$20/hour for merely showing up to work. I can think of very few reasons why an able bodied person should be receiving benefits in this day and age. Let's get back to real estate please.
