That really is the crux of it. Law enforcement not doing their job as far as even enforcing existing traffic laws. Then again, drive through places like Pinecrest and Miami Springs where the cops do have a reptation of being a-holes and you'll find far less reckless driving.

I will say one thing for the Spanish speaking people in Miami - most of them are actually bilingual, even though Miami is seen as a place where no English is spoken (this I disagree with).

English speakers need to stop being so arrogant. The world does not revolve around the English language.
everyone in miami that i know is bilingual. Heck im trilingual. But i think there should be standard English so we can all communicate with each other. I know its a free country but learning English just gives you a lot of opportunities

I have to agree ... I am now almost fluent in Spanish .. can hold a conversation in decent Spanish with out sounding like I have a mouth full of marbles .. my wife is Cuban American and it does not help that we only speak in English to each other .. now that said I am all for learning other languages but our common bond down here should be English .

Portugese is next on my list as I now travel to Brazil for work and I am lost without someone translating from our local office .

That proves my point ... maybe maybe Miami should have more a hole cops like in Miami Springs or Pine Crest and state troopers instead of wannabee body builders out to impress hot latin chicks .. while stopping them and flirting as a Daddy Yankee clone flys by in their purple Honda Civics with a whale tail and are ignored !!!
