Yes there is it is a second generation Cuban American accent that you hear in Westchester , Hialeah and other areas .... even among American born Cubans there is a "Tony Montana " "Emilio Estefan " thing going on when they speak ... my wifes nephew born and raised in Miami sounds like "Manolo " from Scarface ...

In that case there is no "official " Boston , New York or New Orleans accent either .. nobody signed a proclamation naming those "official " accents ... not trying to be a smart ass ... but if you live in Miami .. you know there is a Miami Cuban accent even for those born in Miami . I can hear a guy on the radio and know he is a Miami Cuban just from his accent .. it helps if his name is "Lazaro" or "Raulito " .. but there is a definite Miami accent .

I don't have an accent and I'm from Miami. I don't speak spanish either. I lived in Georgia for 3yrs and a southern accent slips out every once in a while but no Miami accent.
