That’s what Sano infamously did, right? She doxed constituents who criticized her participation in a Black Lives Matter protest at the Mall of America. Or were you referring to something else?

There have been a number of comments lamenting that Minneapolis might turn into another Detroit but, unlike Minneapolis, Detroit has avoided being wracked by riots. There was a fascinating interview with Detroit’s police chief where he explained how they have avoided these problems.

Quote:
The lack of violent riots in the city over the past few months can be attributed the police department’s mentality not to retreat, and support of that from city leadership and the community, said Detroit Police Chief James Craig... “We don’t retreat here in Detroit,” Craig said. “We’re just not going to do it. … We weren’t giving up ground to the radicals. We just didn’t do it.”

Detroiters aren’t tolerating violence in their city either, and the community at large is in support of the department’s efforts, he said.

“When you talk about what’s different here, we have a city that has stood together,” Craig said. “Our mayor stands with this police chief, stands with this police department. We are not going to tolerate this uptick in violence. That’s key. That’s real key.”
So in one city you have an administration and almost all black citizens who back their police, while here you have a council which is outspokenly anti-police and an almost all white population who is willing to sacrifice their city to assuage their collective white guilt.

In contrast to Frey, Walz, and the hopelessly inept Minneapolis City Council, this is what real leadership looks like.

Sano, Cano....I knew it was an “ano” of some kind. You seem to be making quite an effort to backtrack from your previous statement about a supposed conversation you had with a Mpls City Council member. I’ll just have to conclude that the conversation never happened.

Why? Because he won’t share the details with some anonymous poster on the internet? He’s just taking a cue from you— you never respond to a question.

In Newark, NJ (a gang infested hellhole in many areas) there has been no riots or violence. Forget about having police stand up or down, they haven't had to do anything because everyone stayed peaceful

Is it because Floyd was killed here and not there? That does play a role in it, and the worthless city council here.

I don’t think that’s the explanation.
