Because there was a rather specific anecdote shared about an un-named member of the city council and I was curious if it happened to be about the guy who represents my ward.

Why not have a conversation with the "guy who represents (your) ward" and judge for yourself?

Then you should have been able by now to have formed your own opinion on him, regardless of whether or not I chose to "Cano" him or someone else to you.

Identifying a council member you spoke with is not “doxing” him/her. They are public servants after all. That would only be the case if you shared their home address and/or home telephone number.
