Someone is claiming that woman's rights are moving backwards? That is absurd. MO is not an anti woman state by any stretch nor for that matter any other in this day. They have all the rights and benefits that men receive and if you really examine what is taking place in this country, it is men that are getting the short end of the stick now.

That amounts to hundreds.
Those are not all downtown, which was your blatantly false claim.

I find it best to just put people like that on ignore.
He isn't even part of Missouri, thus has no dog in the fight.
"Split hairs" over factual definitions. LOL ok. Classic tactic of someone who knows they're wrong, I think it is called moving the goal posts. Another classic tactic of the defeated, the personal attacks. "Toxitoes-t".........clever. I mean, not really, but clever enough.

I love Missouri, specifically both STL and the Ozarks. No, I don't live there, but I'll call out this nonsense deriding the big scary city every time I see it. City peeps gotta stick together.

Missouri has a LOT of beauty, and a lot of natural diversity...but aside from Lake of the Ozarks and the Mississippi and Missouri rivers, it's not a watery place. I was born and lived in Florida until I was 12. I would really love to move back south. Louisiana is a very watery place. Seems perfect to me. lol
Actually, Stl went through a stretch from 2001 to 2012 where it didn't drop below zero at all. Central OK around Oklahoma city was having colder weather.

Funny, but Oklahoma around Oklahoma City and Tulsa have worse winters. When it snows it's massive snowstorms or ice storms. due to the location and Gulf moisture.

Southern Missouri has many warm days in the winter that it gets into the 60s even low 70s at times.

Very true, but at least you can pay it on line and print out a receipt. I have 3 vehicles and two trailers and my personal property tax is just $68 a year. Inspections are $12, tags run $30-$40 a year. Tags are cheaper if you buy two years.

Yeah, adding it to something else would cut down on trying to remember the different bills to pay, and when. My 2 yr van registration is coming up this August in eastern Oregon. I wonder if we pay property taxes on vehicles here too. Never thought about it, and have been here 4 yrs.

Those prices don't sound too bad. I was expecting higher. How is your car insurance. Oregon was higher than North Carolina. I hope this isn't considered OT.

I have 3 older vehicles (94, 2000, 2007) . Liability on the 3 is about $75 a month total. But we have no accidents that were our fault for almost 40 years, and only 5-6 tickets.
