Avengers: Endgame not only got that absurd amount of box office money but actual critical acclaim, which totally proves that critics were simply stanning for the MCU's amazing achievements in world building and marketing, and not for the film's actual accomplishment as a cinematic piece. It was a quite mediocre movie.

I agree, Infinity War was much better, I think they should have left it when/where it ended and be done with it.
Endgame was just ridiculous...OK, so time is now irrelevant in the Marvel universe, great, that also means, death, birth and just about everything else becomes irrelevant too! Maybe for the NEXT Avengers movie, they can have one of Thanos henchmen secretly go back in time before all the trickery and sneaking around in Endgame, change reality and bring Thanos back to life at a point when all the avengers are toddlers?! LOL
You're under the impression you can knock Batfleck out if you sucker-punch him.
Which is why I added BatClooney for your benefit.
Re: Bane. In the comics, Bane is MASSIVE. As in bigger than Andre the Giant massive. Literally a towering, overly muscular brute. That's how he broke Batman's back.
For the film, Bane's pain-deadening gas was emphasized, along with Batman's being seriously out of shape. It's one of the things I don't like about the movie.
But I know...we're just going by the movies here, not the comics.
So again, if you think you can take the Batman in those gifs I posted: Be my guest!
Sucker punch is a newer term. I'm not sure what that exactly means.
What happened in the comics is irrelevant to what the rest of us seen in the movies. They should not have portrayed Batman being badly beaten up by a large man. Especially having his back broken over a knee - like a 97 pound weakling.
Bending reality in the movies is a virtual guaranty. When they bend it to far it feels like the earth is shifting beneath our feet. That is an uncomfortable feeling.
When they make movies with no rules they are begging for additional criticism.
1) I enjoy your posts. They are honest and insightful in spite of seeing things much differently than most.
2) You picked the right thread to grouse about a mega hit.
3) The public certainly do not have refined tastes in movies. The top blockbusters are almost all geared towards the mind set of a youth sans critical faculties.

I take any opportunity to grouse.

Yup. Nearly all "big" movies these days are made for teens. Old people like me are perfectly willing to say home and wait for the DVD on most movies. Although I do fully intended to see the new Godzilla flick on the big screen. I may be old, but I ain't dead yet.
I thought AQUAMN was terrible. A complete debacle of a script.
I'll have to check out Aquamn. Is that the Asylum knockoff with Van Damme?

John Wick is much better than the other two. Ditto for the sequel.
