Avengers: Endgame - an average movie experience.
Black Panther - a good action flick. Deserved to do half of what it did.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Going to take lobster and roses to get me back to that franchise.
The Hunger Games - just acceptable for passing the time.
Pirates of the Caribbean - What was all the fuss about anyway?
Guardians of the Galaxy - about 50 years too old for this drivel - at 59.
Batman vs. Superman - most ridiculous idea ever.

Now I am 60 years old. Feeling about 45 years too old for the typical modern blockbuster.

I have zero interest in superhero films, and not much more interest in the rest of what you list.

However, I lack the self-absorption to think that my interests should dictate the box office performance of films.

Relax champ, its passing time on an internet movie forum. You know - where we usually exchange what we thought or think of X and Y and Z.

Now then - what have you done for the forum? I can't seem to recall many hot threads that you initiated. Guess that is beneath you?

Where's Avatar?

And did The Force Awakens deserve its haul, being a redo of '77 in all but the cast and certain scenes?

Saw the Avengers movie yesterday and I thought it was a pretty lame 2 hours. It didn't get good until the headquarters was blown up. Still I can't see why this movie grossed so much at the box office.

Avatar is the "best eyegasm"? Not for me. I walked out of the theater thinking it was an entertaining one-off, but nowhere near deserving of the outrageous hype it was enjoying.

And if you think you "could take Batman"...you don't know Batman. BatClooney, maybe!

You conveniently ignored a vital part of the sentence: ...."if he didn't see the first hit coming." Ever been hit by a huge haymaker that you don't see coming? I seen Batman not only lose in a one on one fight - the other guy (Bane?) picked him up and broke his back over his knee (?)!

I've got some diamonds that need cutting. I'll send them over with some juicy photos of your Batman. Your excitement may have abated in the past 1/2 hour.

You're under the impression you can knock Batfleck out if you sucker-punch him.

Which is why I added BatClooney for your benefit.

Re: Bane. In the comics, Bane is MASSIVE. As in bigger than Andre the Giant massive. Literally a towering, overly muscular brute. That's how he broke Batman's back.

For the film, Bane's pain-deadening gas was emphasized, along with Batman's being seriously out of shape. It's one of the things I don't like about the movie.

But I know...we're just going by the movies here, not the comics.

So again, if you think you can take the Batman in those gifs I posted: Be my guest!

GLADIATOR.

The first twenty minutes are great. After that, it's almost unwatchable due to its own unrelenting stupidity.
