There is something odd when it looks like a flick has everyone in it listed on the opening credits....and this movie owes up to it. Positively lousy, a 1.0.
Lots of boom-boom and bang-bang and screech-screech but aside from the action, the movie falls rather flat. Now maybe it grows on one in the days after the viewing or maybe the ending is particularly nice but generally, it is a stretch to give it anymore than a 6.
Another fairly boring film that's still good to watch if one happens to be a hardcore Boris Karloff and/or inspired by Lovecraft's tales films fan IMHO .
From Naked prey by Cornel Wilde to Naked Jungle by Charleston Heston.
They dont make movies like that anymore,I guess Africa,Brazil have all become civilised.

Enjoyed “Naked Jungle”—saw it on tv—maybe Sunday Night at the Movies— when I was very young
It originated as short story “Leiningen vs the Ants”
I remember reading that when I was in school—it is a great story for so many reasons but likely not in any current English texts…
Totally impressed me with the power of nature and such a small creature—
In fact the movie does good job of that as well
And choosing between the single-mindedness of Leinengen and the ants is difficult…
Entertaining for what it is, beef cake, heaving bosoms, saucy villains, and a Milton James lookalike at his biggest. A 6.0.
