Rampage (2018)

Loosely based on the video game. It was a decent movie, just the right amount of CGI action. Dwayne Johnson has been getting better as an actor. He was good in this.

Just finished watching Off The Map (2002) with Joan Allen, Sam Elliott, Valentina de Angelis, J. K. Simmons and Jim True-Prost. Directed by Campbell Scott.

Offbeat movie. Very well-acted and directed, beautiful scenery, interesting story, moves very slowly. I liked it because of all the foregoing. Interesting character studies.

Someone in the New Mexico forum recommended it. I had to purchase it on Amazon because it isn't available anywhere, not even at the library.

Extraction 2.

Loved the first one, second one was OK.
Ending made it clear there was going to be a part 3.
Felt quite a bit like John Wick, with each installment, losing its initial glare and becoming more "shoot, stab, rinse, repeat..."

A Man Called Otto (2022)

A little long-winded, but decent.

The movie was fine, and didn't need the woke crap they had to put in.

Thursday: Vera "Changing Tides"

Decent, not too hard to follow and wraps up nicely though I was afraid they were just going end it with "it's obvious!". A 7.0.

Friday: Shadowland

Very disjointed where the high points of the movie are the photography.....that doesn't make much sense as the movie goes along. Drone photography is fantastic to watch but too many movies make too much of it. A very poor movie to make it to the circuit, the story is as laughable as the production (this is how they protect diplomats in the UK?), a 2.0.
