Sort of a more graphic version of "Deliver Us From Evil" ( https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069961/?ref_=fn_al_tt_4 ) . Still, decently good for close to 90 minutes though setting may have something to do with it, watching it at night, in a ranch house, at the other extreme of weather. Nice twists and it gets some things right. A 8.1.
Dark, interesting movie.. about a (somewhat shadier than normal) traveling salesman, who basically receives an ominous palm reading. The salesman (played by Guy Pearce) becomes obsessed with making sense of his fate..
Reminded me of Twilight Zone storytelling.
It's not too bad.....but it helps if you are a professional diver to get your teeth into it. Tension was okay, photography beautiful, and decent effects of exposure as the movie rolls on. Sure, random chance played a bit much in their favor, but, oh well! For the Friday night horror flick, a 5.0.
Mediocre sandal and sword flick. Decent treachery, wonderful back grounds, good background bodies, questionable history and wraps it all up quickly in the end. A 4.3.
Sort of a Blade Runner for the violence and a The Pleasure Dome (Stacy Donovan) for the women in and out of lingerie. It's cheap 20th century sci fi but its fun. A 7.1....for a late Saturday nite.
A rewatch but I had forgotten several parts of it. The first Columbos were the best, an 8.1.
