Those stupid glasses don't work for me. I have very good vision in one eye, and really, REALLY poor vision in the air. To compensate, my brain gets most visual information out of the good eye.
So those glasses just make the picture look like an oddly-colored blur. And they give me a headache.
Die, 3D! Die!
Sounds like a personal problem to me. Maybe all tv should be black and white to accomodate the color blind.
Seriously, any decent system would have compensation for folks with issues like this. Glasses with the same filters over both eyes, a way to have it go just 2-D, etc. It IS a valid complaint, even if the proposed solution is a bit extreme.
Well I guess a lot of people don't always agree with the things people say that is a drawback about 3d. The 3d movies are doing good, out selling the 2d presentations of these 3d movies. Even though the 2d format of these films are still showing on way more screens. When this form was started that was when Bolt came out. The first movie that started the constant stream of 3d movies that would come out about once a month instead of the every six months it had been. Now 3d is doning just fine so far. The same amount are coming out in 2010 but with about ten more as well. A totally different story from a year ago.
"But despite its phenomenal popularity, not everybody has “3-D ready†eyes. A big group of people around the world have reported feeling nausea, dizziness and other ill effects while watching the film in 3-D. Others are stereoblind, that is, they don’t see properly out of both eyes – or are missing an eye, because of cancer, say — and can’t enjoy the effects of the state-of-the-art digital technology."
Good! I like that today's great filmmakers are going against the 3-D trend. 3D-techniques can overshadow the genuine creativity of some filmmakers. I will cry my eyes out if Inception is made in 3-D! Save 3-D for the Disney and Pixar movies, where it's more fitting.
If a movie is good, i dont need to watch it in 3d. I hate wearing glasses and 3d gives me a headache.
Just stop it
