Perhaps it went beyond boredom like Martel's seductive nature which in turn unleashed Connie's inner wild child and it preyed on her better judgement.

Watch “The Godfather” Part 1 last night and Part 2 today
I find I prefer the younger Al Pacino and the older Diane Keaton
And I still love the line “leave the gun and bring the cannoli”

"Solomon Kane"
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0970452/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

It's bit tough to follow, to know how one got to points in the flick but that may have an advantage in that one can't predict what is coming next. Lots of good sword play and use of the capes in a time when Men were Men and women were chattel, there are no Amazons in this one.....although watching it, I could feel my Valkyrie worlds.

And while the magic is there, it isn't overbearing but more like just a theme in the story, though when confronted, it is certainly evil enough. Bought it about a month ago when I was on a shopping spree to increase the swords & clubs section of the library.

Say a 6.6.

Russkies
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093898/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

The library has lots of regular DVDs in cases.....and it has drawers of working copies made from VHS (which are in storage in boxes). This flick was from the latter, sitting in the dark, unseen....until I remembered about them and decided I better start looking at them, too.

It's a kid's flick, so it is fantasy and fun. Left me with a refreshed feeling. Say a 7.9.

Just watched The Assistant. WORST MOVIE EVER.

The lead was a great actress even though she was glum the entire movie.

Still couldn't make up for the lack of plot.
