The Death of Adolph Hitler

Part of my Frank Finlay buying spree. A television play version of The Last 10 Days. It must have been exhausting for Finlay playing someone who went into bouts of anger so suddenly and frequently only to be graceful the next minute. It was rather to watch Finlay and not see him but recognize him because of his voice. Coodles to Ed Devereaux for played Martin Borman, a very slimy person. Say about a 7.8.

Last King of Scottland.

Pretty decent. Like a 6.5? May have to watch it again, I ripped through some of the more dialogue-y parts.

I watched The one and only Ivan with my two teens on Saturday night. I hadn't heard anything much about it, but it was on Disney+ and new so I thought we'd give it a go. It was really good. One of the better kid movies I've seen lately. My 16 year old and I bawled. Happy tears mostly. Very good family film.

W o w! Talk about a good movie for some escapism and a good feeling at the end. Say about a 9.5 for just as good feeling is there, one is experencing the conclusion to return to their life refreshed, they cut to the credits. Sort of a drop off there.

I think I must have bought this DVD in a dollar store buying spree. It's got everything from handsome knights, decent damsels in distress, terrific femme fatales, wonderful beasts, lots of sword play, bad villains.

I am a little bit dismayed to see such low ratings on IMDB but I guess when it starts off being seen on SyFy Channel, the presenter's reputation precedes them to anything they show.

I just saw TENET in the theater, what a mind-trip, Christopher Nolan definitely was one of the most craziest imaginations out there, to say the least!

I have just purchased this movie called Gifted Hands. I have seen parts of it before and today someone had the book in their hands. It is basically about a black man born into not so good circumstances and becomes a world-renowned brain surgeon who did what was considered impossible. It is a true story in movie form. God bless you all. We all need some encouragement daily : ) and black people could use this sort of encouragement especially.

Another flick that I never saw, went into knowing nothing about. To me, it's a little bit like Six Days of the Condor. A little. It's good in that despite being 2 hours long, it keeps the interest. It has good rewatch capability from the stand point of watching again to find all the points that were missed before. Say an 8.3.
