I hadn't heard of this one - what was it about? I'll look for it if I can learn more about it.

Default please forgive the long list...

...but we rent/buy/DVR movies constantly.

In the last 2 weeks:

'Leatherheads' - 3/5. My DH and I both fell asleep during this one. It just didn't grab our attention.

'No Country for Old Men' - 5/5. We both loved this movie, despite the pacing. If nothing else, the slowness helped build up the suspense and anxiety.

'21' - 3.5/5. I'm a huge Kevin Spacey fan, and he didn't disappoint in this one. The story line was just a bit unconvincing.

'Vantage Point' - 4/5. Exciting, suspenseful, even confusing, but very fun to watch.

'The Gift' - 4/5. My DH had never seen this one and enjoyed it as much as I always have. Lots of surprises, and Cate is wonderful in it.

'Meet the Spartans' - 3.5/5. Funny but a little inconsistent. The Britney Spears gag near the beginning had us in stitches.

'Definitely, Maybe' - 4/5. Our whole family loved this one.

'Semi-Pro' - 3/5. Some funny moments, but hardly Wil Farrell's best.

'Excalibur' - 4.5/5. A favorite of mine for over 20 yrs, yet my DH had never seen it. Not sure if he likes it as much as I do, it's definitely 'The Sword in the Stone' on acid.

'Iron Man' - 5/5. Awesome flick! Downey's delivery and timing are incredible, and the scenes with the robot are just hilarious.

I'd forget about Sarah Marshall - it was so not funny - I didn't laugh once. There's some full frontal male shots, but it's only Jason Segel, so it's kind of a waste.
.
I could not agree more. Watched it last nite and could not believe all the fuss this movie got. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I netflixed Run Lola Run this weekend and absolutely loved it! It's a German flick with Franke Potente (actress in Bourne Identity) who has 20 minutes to save her boyfriend. Great script and actors, and a cool techno soundtrack to match the chaotic pace. 4/5
