I'm sure those in the program already know this, but for the rest... The summer training dates have been confirmed for June 7th - July 14th.

I graduate June 12th, so I don't know how I'm going to make this work.

Yes, you definitely need to read the packet. The first part of the interview date is devoted to each applicant "teaching" a pre-prepared lesson plan.

I will interview on March the 27th.

I had indicated on the application that I had already passed the Praxis to teach Biology and selected Biology as highly preferred. However, the invitation was to interview for Elementary.

I am looking forward to hearing how everyone is doing and how many make it in the program.

If I am accepted I will definitely be reaching out to others on this thread for support. Plus, I will need a room mate in Nashville at least for awhile.

Good luck to all!!!!

I applied February 1st and was told a little more than two weeks later that while they appreciated my credentials, I was on an interview waiting list. Today they e-mailed an invitation to interview on March 27th (for special education). If I get in and decide to go for it, I, too, will need to find a roomie!

I hope to see you at the interview then. I will be traveling in from Bristol.

Here is an article I found that gives an update on the 2009-2010 fellows.

Hey all... For the interviews, how late do you remember staying? I know the packet/schedule says maximum as late as 3PM, but I was just wondering if anyone experienced it past the 3PM mark. Trying to book a flight... Thanks.

Oh, and by the way... When do we find out the location of the interview? Did I miss something?

I was invited to interview on March 6. The location for that event in McGavock High School. I am not sure if that will be the location for the later interviews.

I would really love to hear some feedback from people that completed the program last year-how they faired in the hiring process, how the school year went, overall opinion, etc...
