Edison Diner up on Rt 1 and Sayreville Diner (that little one just before the bridge into South River). Also really like the Marlton Diner in South Jersey. And Country Club in Voorhees too.

I feel bad not supporting my local diners, but Mastori's is one of the best.

I liked Olga's but it's gone, so Mastoris gets my vote. Don't feel bad. It is really good.

What about bakeries? What are the best ones?

Honestly I have to say, I'm having a hard time finding good take-out places in central NJ.
