Honestly I have to say, I'm having a hard time finding good take-out places in central NJ.
La Bonbonniere has always been great. Mendoker's is also one of my mother's favorites.

Tick Tock is great. I have family pretty close and we always go there when we eat out.

I ate at Olga's once like 10 years ago I think long before it closed. Don't remember too much about it.

A few years ago my cousin took me to the Marlton Diner on 70 which was newer I think. The outside looks like that old-fashioned type, but it didn't really look that inside. Food was good though I thought.

Is the Scotchwood Diner on Route 22 still there? That was my favorite.

And there was a great bakery in the middle of Dunellen; not sure if it's still there either.

Tough choice.

I'm torn between the Double S Diner in Wantage, Roxbury Diner, and the Jefferson Diner. Wasn't the JD featured on the Food Network a while back?

I can't decide, so here's the list

Tops Diner in East Newark
The Shore Diner in EHT
The Shore Point Diner in Somers Point
The Pilgrim in Verona or Ceder Grove (I'm not sure which)
Ponzio's in Brooklawn (too many memories for me not to include it)
The Queen in Milllville (again, too many memories for me not to include it)
