They're not going in numerical order. They're jumping all over the place and calling people in no order whatsoever.

Our balcony was about 20 feet by 8 feet. Pretty decent size. Some of the apartments have huge wrap around balconies. Pretty crazy.

I was able to get the floor plan for the 3 bedroom model. Sorry my wife threw it in her bag.

But for anyone that toured it can have an idea of size.

Some pictures of the apartment are on this website: Tour Hunters Point South's Amenity-Packed Affordable Rentals - Renters Week 2015 - Curbed NY

We also qualified for the 3 bedroom. I am very tempted to take. If we do get a call back I may ask to see if there are any left.

The best I can do is the google tilt view. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7435.../data=!3m1!1e3

The balcony for my apartment is 6 windows across. Each window is about 3' to 3'6" feet.

Alm1026 here is a great site that provides a lot of floorplans and images

I can't for the life of me find the image of the awesome balcony! I know it is on my computer at home. I'll try to post it tonight.

I couldn't do a walk through because the apartments were inaccessible. One being on the 25th floor and the other was part of the hoist (Construction elevator) line. We had to choose quick because someone with a lower log number may have gotten the apartment before us. The layouts are only reserved after they are picked. i.e. If someone in the 40,xxx range could have gotten the same layout as us and would have preference when selecting. But once you say its yours, they take it out of the system.

Our apartment is actually on the north side of the building with zero view. We chose it because we have a dog and wanted the ability to walk up and the down the stairs. My family is very conscious of others and didn't want anyone who may be scared or allergic to dogs to have to see be in the elevator with mine for 25th stories.

Also, it was the same size and had the patio which is a nice touch. But we would have preferred a higher apartment with views.

Here is the 3d tilt view in google maps. You can see all the apartments with a patio. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7435.../data=!3m1!1e3

And I am sure you will get approved quick. It was literally a few hours for us.
First of all, thanks for sharing! Didn't even know about that 3rd tilt feature in google maps, awesome!

The place you picked is also on 25th but with a patio, is that also an outdoor private space - a bigger version of a terrace? If that's the case, then it's not a big deal that you don't have a view, the private outdoor space makes up for that!
