And no one should be shocked to see there are definite differences between the lottery apts and the MR ones. I was p*ssed considering I'm pay 2K for basically what I consider a box.
that said, I know people who would pay market rate for these too...
You mean differences in quality, fit and finish or size?
Well, where I am now, if I put a ball on the floor it rolls to the other side of the room, so I will take Ikea finishes in 250 ANY. DAY.
Hey I hear ya. My commute now is 1.5 hours so I'm not complaining but like I said, I was disappointed to see that at first especially at 2k a pop. But I also have friends paying 2600 and up for a 5th floor walk up with no amenities, lol.
there can't be a difference between the lotto units and MR - because until the building was build out completely, theres no way for the contractors to know which is which, and the units are decided upon completion of the blding. the studio i viewed yesterday, it was still not fully finished, the stove was placed in the middle of the living/dining area. everything is there..but just the stove needed to be slapped against the wall, that's all.

Not based on what I saw, unless the pics from the internet is wrong specifically for the bathroom. The bathroom finish IS different. I took pics and video...
Here's a market rate 1BR bathroom I took a photo of when I went to look at the market rate units..
