Don't give up. If no answer is a good thing. Doesn't mean you're rejected. Plus up your opportunities by applying to other housing apartments. What do you have to lose?
I think it's sad that people have to apply for 'affordable' (but not really) housing 'lotteries' just to be able to live in NYC. You know that there are many places in this country where you don't need a lottery to get ACTUAL affordable housing right?
Aquarius, you have been one of the leaders and also one of the most upbeat and optimistic people on this board. What changed you? Do you feel that this whole thing was pre-planned? Were you unfairly turned down?
