I just saw this on the the Atlantic Yards Report.

As of Feb. 20, 461 Dean was 19% leased: 69 apartments (though probably more below-market)

Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park Report: As of Feb. 20, 461 Dean was 19% leased: 69 apartments (though probably more below-market)

That still leaves many apartments in the lottery portion not officially leased. Anything can still happen. Being on the waitlist is not a bad thing. It has been pretty stressful having to organize a move so fast, so I can imagine some either won't think it's worth it, or won't be able to make it happen.

the blast email from Mhany that many of us got actually said the opposite, that we are on the waiting list but to not get our hopes up. read back 10 or so pages for the exact wording.

Yeah, they sent out the same form email verbatim for 535 Carlton which I received. They're just covering their bases so people don't keep needlessly checking in. Some people on the waitlist end up getting an apartment is all I'm saying.

Like I mentioned. The upper floors are STILL under construction. Especially the 28th to roof terrace floors.

It would be nice to be informed how far along on the waiting list one is. If anything, create a new log # system for the waiting list. anyway, i am so over this, i am so over this city. I only check in on these threads because I'm some sort of twisted masochist.

I love how most of the lower floor apartments all have their shades down, especially the ratchet apartment on floor 2 right adjacent to the Barclay's center. After I posted what I posted last week of what I saw, the shades went right down and have been down since forever. And ... I am not a pervert, but I do like to look into the units to see how construction is going and what apartments are being renovated. Curiosity!

HellUp, they do a random choosing at the beginning of the lottery to pull numbers. You could have a log # of 1 but if you aren't of the original 20 K or so #'s pulled off the list, you won't ever get contacted. Once those 20K people are pulled out of 90K or so, they then whittle down.

What does this mean that log numbers don't matter?
