Default NYC curbed sneak peak of 461 dean

NYC curbed real estate website got a preview of the apartments at 461 Dean. The pictures will not disappoint! The apartments look much larger than what the renderings showed on the website.

Default 461 Dean St housing Lottery

Hello guys,

We were called for an interview for this apartment and are just waiting to be selected hopeully.
Did anybody here already received a call and was selected? I am curious because I saw on the news today that it was already opened for viewing for tenants.

Also I am very anxious because a week after we got interviewed, we received a letter in the mail that we were declined becAuse we didnt appear in the interview which was false so we called and he person said it was an error and that there were lots of people who received the same mail. Anyone here experienced the same thing?

Anyways pls share if anybody has been contacted already about this and if anyone knows whether we should be getting a call if we were selected or are they going to mail something?

Appreciate it

Has anyone else heard from MHANY regarding the status of their application?

I completed the initial intake interview on September 20
Received rejection letter the following week (claiming I did not come in for an interview)
Appealed (they admitted those letters were mistakenly sent)
And haven't heard anything since

Log Number is 8XXX

I know that the leasing office is now open and they're hoping to sign leases for December 2016 move-in.

nothing.

They are glomming hardcore on the market rate renters (makes sense). Google this address with "news" and you will see how it's going.

I would imagine we will be hearing in the next few weeks.

Or final rejection letters.

I want this so bad

I love the windows but it is a little too urban for my taste. What is a modular apartment?

Legos, basically, in construction human scale form. Look it up, it's fascinating. One of the reasons why I want to live in this building so bad is BECAUSE it's the world's tallest modular residential building (well, China might have us beat right now).
