So I got a rejection letter for not handing in all paperwork. But I got the checklist stating I did. This stuff is so anxiety provoking. Argghh

Was it recent paperwork? I know after the first interview, they contact you when they need updated paperwork since the process can be long and drawn out. Did your letter state anything about appealing? Also was it from MHANY or was it from DHC?! Sorry for so many questions, but we all seem to be in the dark for the most part. I'm totally expecting a rejection letter myself (things in life never particularly go my way). I hope if I get rejected I can come back to this thread and sob for a bit because I don't think anyone in my real life will have any pity for me about losing out on an affordable unit in such a nice building.

Carlton looks like a soviet bunker. Sorry any developers or architects reading this... It's fugly. Not that I would care, I'd take either building, but I have fallen in love with 461 dean a year ago when I walked out of the Atlantic Center mall and looked up and it was actually fully contructed. I was like OMG it looks like a Transformer mated with the Nintendo Entertainment System (anyone who grew up in the 80s or very early 90s knows what I'm talking about). The 461 building is the official NES colors. I fell in love, with a building! Also considering they are saying it's the WORLD'S tallest Modular Building (they leave out the residential part of that) it could, theoretically, become a landmark 100 years from now! Of course we'll all be dead, but I love architecture and imagining that is kinda fun.

Same exact thing happened to me. I appealed it and they reopened my case. Just make sure to have whatever they requested on hand with you again. They will not accept the "I already gave it to you" defense. After that, they restart everything and you can go back to waiting. Overall, they were very nice with me, hopefully I don't get any more letters from them..
