With HPD, it depends on how backed up the person handling the development you're trying to get into is. Now it seems to be taking months, but you can call them to check on the appeal, which often prompts them to act on it. HPD doesn't often overturn, or "interfere," in its words, with the marketing agent's decision--you have to prove an actual mistake was made--but it has been known to happen, so don't give up hope. Good luck.
Does anyone have a number to reach out to at HPD? I only have the email address which probably gets checked every never. Sent my appeal a week and a half ago and want to grease the wheels and see if that tiny inkling of hope is valid or if my hopes and dreams will be crushed forever and unto eternity.

It would be the most angsty book of poetry since Sylvia Plath first put pen to paper.

As I sit at my desk at my dead-end job,
I patiently wait for my newest log

Sixty-six thousand a hundred and two,
But only 60 percenters so another $crew YOU!

Oh WHY won't this city throw me a bone?
and who can get MHANY on the damn phone?

So I sit and I sulk and scream bloody murder,
but laugh at the cheap Chinese contruction girders.

That's decent - nothing to write home about, but really great if you have CB preference.

Log number is 9XX but still haven't heard anything. I guess since I have no preference I have no chance.

Off to the next lotto....... at least I tried and will keep trying.

In the next 6 months if nothing happens I'm leaving NYC cause I just can't afford it anymore.
