Should I tell them it's "bear" and not "bare"?

Anyway, it probably means they still haven't sent the files to the city.

I learned from my last housing interview which they received an over abundance of interviews/applications, just to waitlist the majority of people chosen. It has to be a scheme, the amount of money orders they had received is astounding and to know that no one will be refunded makes you wonder.

By looking at everyone's response and also based on my experiences with being "called" but to get waitlisted again, I didn't want to get my hopes at all Alvista. I get an email from Alvista to pick an interview date and I selected one far in advance because I didn't want to take off any current days from work to waste my time. My log number is 38xxx. I picked a convenient day in end of July so I can bring in my paperwork and do my other errands on this day off. And now I know not waste money on printing all these documents at FedEx printing center or the library. I will use a family member printer to print my documents. I knew getting contacted so early was too good to be true. Smh.

No offense, but clearly an affordable housing at Alvista was not your priority. If you sincerely want something in life, you have to relentlessly work toward it even if the chances of success are very slim.
