Did any of your paperwork you recently sign had apartment number on it??? If not then you file can’t be sent to HDC. When you file is being sent to HDC apartment number is attached to your name. HPC is just verity that the management company follow all steps and guild lines from hpd. When you sign that form with the apartment number on it you should be fine. But I saw on another post a person had a different experience.
What if the documents you signed had unit/log #:_________ and the log # was entered instead of unit? Does that mean the packet wont be sent to HDC?

I can’t remember the name of the form but when I sign it had the address with the apartment number and my log number on the top of the page. I went through this last year but I do remember because my housing specialist pointed out to the apartment number on the paper. Thankful my housing specialist was nice and very informative she talked me through the whole process.

So I’m guessing he filled the form out after you signed. Your experience is a lot different from mines due to what’s going on in the world. Just be on top of the person handling your file because he/she is dealing with multiple ppl at a time.

Yeah mine does seem different from other people’s. There’s was about 6 sections of documents we were unsure about and he just told us to sign and date and he will fill in the blanks which was good because it saved us time and we got to submit the documents back to him faster. I’ll give u until next Friday to email him about any updates because he did say he’ll try to get us a possible 5 business day approval
Thank you so much!! And omg that’s great you gonna get an interview fingers crossed it works out for you! Today we were contacted again by the selecting coordinator he said he’s putting our documents in a file to send to HDC and he’s pushing for us to hopefully get an approval within 5 business days he said. But what’s weird is that we never did an interview. So I’m confuse about that part as to why we never got an interview. I thought sending the documents to HDC is like the last step & with us never getting an interview I’m kind of nervous.
Yes please pray me and everyone else. I don’t have a baby on the way but I do have a son with asthma and special needs. We have been in the shelter for three years! And it’s time to get out of here. I feel like this is the one, the one I’ve been hoping for. Something clean and sanitary. Safe. And I really emphasize the word safe because the shelter has been pushing for me to take Nycha in Staten Island and it’s like unbelievable. The virus is running rampant in these Nycha buildings, gang violence, trash everywhere, broken elevators,etc. I refuse to have my son who can’t even defend himself to feel unsafe as he’s walking into his building. I rather wait for God’s plan for something better.

I have a question about tax returns? Do they ask for the last two years or more?
