My log is 7***, no preferences. They reached out, I submitted my all my documents earlier this week. How long did it take between the submittal of documents & the call back, for those called back?
Hello all I've been stressing i sent an email about futher processing with a log number of 3xxx and ME preferences. I submitted my documents online ( well at first they sent an email 2 weeks ago about my income since its changed , then I submitted the updated income and in like 2 days they sent me the GREAT NEWS you have been selected for the lottery and futher processing . So what im getting is the CB preferences is closed out so maybe they are moving on to ME preference ? I only asked for a 1b should I hold out hope they will contact me ? Do I still have a chance ? What happens after they review my file . I know she won't be in the office till next week shohld I email then and ask if she got everything if I'm still in the running? When they denied me at first the email stated it was for income reasons but not because its all filled . I hope that makes sense. I moved out of my parents 6 months ago and is currently renting a room . So it would be great if i was picked
I also heard what want to know everything about cash app which I use to lend money to family. Should i write out a list of why each transaction?.also i have an old mcu account which I only opened up because I work for the city . Should I have given them thag even tho I dont use it ? I moved out of my parents house .will they need a letter from him? Or should my current landlord be enough. Would they even ask for all the documents just to decline me ? Or does this mean that they are considering me ? I'm okay with the process taking long so I can save up for it. Last question is there a formal interview after already uploaded the documents like what the next step after I uploaded my docs besides waiting. Thanks everyone
We don't have any children as of yet, and were not required to submit either of those.
We just signed our lease. Moving in next week. They prorated the rent so the first month covers Aug 15-9/15. On Sept 1 we'll pay half rent and then Oct 1 pay rent as indicated on our lease. Sharing this in case anyone comes across it later.
Hi YMartin83.
Like many who were recently contacted I have been following your story.
I have a very low log # and am awaiting a final decision on my application materials in the coming weeks (while also trying very hard to not get my hopes up).
Two quick questions...
When signing the lease did you have to pay first and last month's rent as well as a security deposit?
Also, is your base rent on the 1-bedroom lease still only $1,102?

Thank you, I hope my story and the things I've shared have helped in your journey. At lease signing they require first month and security deposit. The amount on the lease is what the ad on housing connect had. I'm in the 80%AMI and so yes, for the 1 bdrm, it is as it was listed when we first applied...regardless of what the new AMI amounts say now.
I forgot to add that everything is electric...stove, AC/heating unit, so we pay electric bill, which we have to arrange on our own. Since we pay that now, we are just transferring service.
