So, you already have an apartment inside the building? Can you describe the studios and one-bedroom units? How large are they? Also, can you take pictures? Finally, on which floors are they located?
If your child isn’t 12 and up they won’t give it that it’s crazy that they only provide one key card
I think they might. I’ve argue the fact that if I lose my keys I’m have no emergency set with a young child and no 24hr supper to assist. Plus the 50 million pages of paperwork we had to sign short of our souls technically say I can get it. We’ll see.
Don’t miss the deadline!!!! If your going to need more time, call them and give them notice with a follow up email. They don’t respond right away but they do keep track.
When I first applied, I was supposed to submit my paperwork by the end of the day Friday (no time was given). I couldn’t get everything together fast enough but made it to 6pm. At 3:00pm, yes 3pm I got a rejection notice for failure to submit my paperwork. On Monday I received and email saying my paperwork was received. I inquiry about the rejection notice and 2 days later was told I need to appeal my case. After a few please respond emails and phone calls I got through (every email after that had a day and time boldly inserted).
Do give them any reason to hold you up. Once they have your file get them right away. And have patience. They’re people on this thread that was waiting since November 2020 and got the keys in June/July
I just submitted more documents; the only two documents that I need to submit now are the notarized residency letter and the TIC form.
Since I am not on the lease of my current residence and will be submitting a notarized residency letter from the person with whom I live, do I still need to submit the TIC form?
Yes you still need to submit a tic form and I agree that we should be getting two sets of keys reguardless if the child isn’t Around the age of 12. That I also hate that the paint they used in these walls catches dirt too fast that I’m so close to just painting them
Am assuming your apartment configuration is by the corner of the building. I peeped in the one across from me a 3 bed room and it the same kitchen as your but the same bed room line up. I have a 2 bed room too but my kitchen is different it feels very separate (which I like).
I was going to ask for the exact paint color, so I can get a paint pen to touch up the marks I’ve made too.
I have a few questions:
I was going to pay my rent a head of time and it told me a “convenience fee” of $30+. Is that normal?
I hear there’s a community center on the 12 floor. Is that true? And is there a bike room?
I only know about the community on the 2nd with the playroom next to the laundry.
Do we have access to the 8 floor terrace?
Lol no not from outside that no one can see me from outside I mean like my daughter and husband that they like to just sit in the dining area watching that I put an island dining set so they just sit there watching like
I'm glad y'all are finally moving in! I interviewed at the building (because I'm nosy and wanted to see the units in person). The lady that took my documents and everything was kind of condescending which soured the whole experience for me. As I was handing in a stack of paperwork, they were asking for more and more. The final straw came when they told me that I only qualified for the 1200 studio. I decided to pass on it since I just recently moved and the thought of doing it again makes me nauseous lol. Also, the location is not the best for me anyway since I don't have a car and there are no good trains around. The building and units are very nice, but I have to agree with others that the laundry room is not enough for a building of that size.
