Yes you get a random log number but the management companies are suppose to go in order starting from # 1 as stated in the marketing hpd handbook and that was also told to me by a management company I submitted docs to earlier this year…preferences go first than general population. But again maybe this management company isn’t going in order or there is some type of preference they have that no one knows about because when I applied there was no preference at all for this lottery

I guess different companies follow their own rules. But something isn't adding up with this management company. There are people with lower #'s than me that haven't been contacted or if they did, they still haven't heard from them yet.

That’s a good theory but then that debunks the whole notion that people are chosen by log order starting from 1 smh.
Right! They’re Probably Going By The Most Lowest Log Number Selected First And Moving Up So Far Those That Have Said They’ve Been Approve Had Log Numbers In The 100s And 200s And It’s Been Two People
