HPD told me they have finished doing CB. So if you go through the threads you will know that they reach out to more people than necessary for these lotteries. It’s happened to me a few times submitting docs and then nothing. There are a few apartments left and they will go to General Population. I’m still waiting. Once it says no more units available you have been waitlisted. I have a few like that. We are at their mercy unfortunately.

By 'waitlisted', does that mean that (theoretically at least) I eventually could be contacted down the road when somebody vacates the apartment i missed out on?
I have log number 5xx with CB and submitted docs late March. Yesterday I got an email asking for more docs and to schedule an eligibility meeting for this week.

I am 8XX CB, and they told me last week that they are still working on CB and they have not reach my number.
People are saying that CB preference has been closed, but I received an email Aug 9, to submit documents for CB preference… my log number is #2XXX. Do you think this is a mistake or I really have a chance?
Submitted documents right away and waiting to hear back.
