pick the fredrick samuel walk ups. the neighborhood is ok but the apartments inside are very nice. you just have to look past the dirty hallways.

fredrick samuels is not project i visited yesterday it look like regular apartment buildings nycha own looks nice actually from the outside only bad thing it down the block from drew hamiltion project harlem river is by the water

rangel is next to polo ground houses worst project in harlem drug infested gangs crimes and the list dont stop

Thanks I really appreciate the input! I'm moving from the Bronx. Whole different territory. So I just don't want to jump into the jungle when I can go somewhere that's not as bad.

I was approved for a transfer to Johnson Housing in East Harlem. Is this a nice area and how long does it normally take to move in?

Forgive me for not being all the familiar, but what are the houses that regular middle class persons sign up for and wait on lists for years to get into, I know ive heard of them before but never researched... I know they are not " "Project" " So to speak. All I know is overhearing from conversation, I believe a past episode of King and Queens (Carey signed on list long time ago, years later she gets called nice apartment in good area in Manhattan?) Anyone can enlighten me ?
