No, that's not why we all agree that it is a bad idea. Read my previous posts.

Is there a reason why you can't accept that we feel that this ban would be pointless and a bad idea? And yes I saw your post about meat....but that doesn't change the fact that the ban is a bad idea.

What are you even talking about? Of course I agree that the ban is a bad idea, but just because it is "pointless" isn't the only reason one should oppose it. What are you trying to do? Make it sound as if I support the ban? lol.

So now you are arguing the degree in which someone is against the ban? Talk about pointless. When people agree with you, just take it.

Me go to bed, your the old guy on here, it is probably way past your bedtime. I swear you guys crack me up, even when I agree with you, you still seem to want to milk it and make it sound like you are right and I am wrong....even though we agree....try to figure out that one cause it sounds a bit mind boggling.

The Mayor may be getting more opposition to this idea than he counted on. I saw an article in a newspaper the other day pointing out that the soft drink industry isn't amused--their goal is precisely the opposite of the Mayor's: to sell as much of the stuff as they can, in as large a quantity as possible. So they're going to put millions of dollars into an opposition campaign.

What's going to happen is that we're going to get caught in the middle of two advertising blitzes.
