How is it ridiculous? It is a law afterall telling you that you can't do something. I am just pointing out that people wave the "freedom" flag at some of the dumbest issues.

But yes, I believe people should be able to marry whom they want and that women should have control over their own bodies.
Good for you, I wish more Republicans and Libertarians were like this...we would have less social problems in our country if they were.

As I explained to you several pages ago, speeding laws are meant to protect other people who aren't you. Little kids. Old ladies. People you could kill if you drive too fast. There is no debating that from anyone with any label.

But it is a law nonetheless that tells you that you can't do something...there are lots of laws that tell you that you can't do something. Maybe this law will help reduce the amount of Americans we have with diabetes or weight issues or whatever, all of which put pressure on our healthcare system and costs others more money.

But again, it is a law that tells you can't do something, so therefore it is taking away your freedom to drive as fast as you want....just like pointing out how stupid this whining about a soda ban really is....not that it would stop any of you from whining about it...that is your freedom to do so.

Actually I don't think you're not getting it, but please, tell me what I am "not getting." I keep hearing people in here whine and whine and whine about how the mayor is taking away their freedoms because they can't order a cup larger than 16oz....why stop there, why not whine that you can't get a decent 132oz cup of soda?

Again, comes back to laughing at people in here whining about the dumbest things while waving the "freedom flag" like that is going to somehow make their point more pressing. Wave that flag when it is about real freedoms and real social issues, not soda cup sizes, but you and others are gonna keep whining and whining cause that is what you guys do best, it is very humorous to see you guys get worked up over nothing.

Blah blah blah, same paragraphs over and over again. You and SoBro should get coffee one day.

The fact is that you cannot understand the simple difference between laws that protect other people by your actions and these little nanny laws that try to dictate how you treat your own body. Well, either you don't understand or you're willfully playing ignorant in order to argue for the sake of arguing.
