hide the welfare check under their work boots. they would never find it to cash it.
What's so funny is that we used to say back in the day to hide your money and valuables in BOOKS or a BIBLE, because the would be thieves would never, ever touch those. LOL!
They'll steal all the obvious, while thousands of dollars are buried inside hollowed out hardcovers.
thats why it is so silly to complain and gripe about that crap.
you can not go on any financial forum without hearing how the low rates are punishing savers.
everyone complains it is a fed plot.
well why not wake up ,the fed did everything but drop leaflets from helicopters telling you that cash instruments are not where you want to be.
anyone who paid attention and played the cards bought nice safe treasury bonds instead and had capital gains like you can't believe on them profiting for years now just because of the low rates.
what can i say folks just do not learn ,they don't pay attention ,they just complain after the fact.
But that's why they invented the i-phone and music devices. And so much more. These are very old ideas, from the beginning of the culture industry as we know it now.
Yet, people have choices.
Forgot to add, for people who do not know: "Bougie wannabee" is another way of saying, "He think he white." We were just laughing about this. Which was probably unkind.
Believe it or not a lot of companies will hire them over others for the tax credits they get.
And a lot of companies can't hire them. Convicted felons cannot be employed in certain industries like the banking sector.
Also, be honest, let's say a man has a history of assault. What company is dumb enough to hire them?
Suppose a retail story hires a man with a history of violence. Suppose one day a complaining customer comes into said retail store. The customer gets on the felon's last nerve, who punches him. Now you've had an injured customer and a LAWSUIT as the store will be responsible for the customers medical bills and any lost wages due to hospitalization or treatment.
Its not impossible for a felon to get a job for a tax credit, but its not easy for a variety of reasons. What if the felon beats up a coworker? Again, the employer could be sued.
A lot of felons are not strictly disabled per say, but would you really want to hire a violent employee who might punch you, the boss?
Or if someone has a history of theft, would you hire an employee who would still from the business? I once knew a coke addicted bartender who bragged about his credit card theft.'
Businesses have to be careful about who they hire.
Felons tend to make a big percentage of those who are homeless, on welfare, etc., for these reasons.
