you are not getting an apartment for 1200 dollars that's close to manhattan and in a safe neighborhood. You just aren't and as noted, this is from craigslist.
Why did you start the thread off inquiring about Far Rockaway? Just curious.
I like the beach and thought moving there might be a good option. That is if the neighborhood is safe. I don't mind longer commute since my job is off the A train.
