Yeah what happens apparently (according to the union reps) is a lot of talk with the commish office ends with "talk to me after night plow to finalize stuff, very busy now." Lol last year we knew quickly after night plow but it could take awhile to confirm

I just sneezed like 10 times. But yeah time does fly by on this job. Feels like I just started as well yet I start my 10th year in a few months.

Also i'm hearing they want to promote 100 supervisors and hire 400 sanitation workers, but as with any job rumors take it with a grain of salt. Nothing is official until it's made public.

They are giving the supervisor test tomorrow and supposedly 1200 people signed up to take it. Majority of that 1200 being the tier6 guys. The only people it makes sense for to actually take that job is the new guys probably. LOL

Nah even they shouldn't take it...all those long OT hours and Sundays....all end up non-pensionable lol.

Plus it sucks lol.

Pretty sure the next supervisor class exhausts this list....it'll be the same this test. Any moron who can guess enough to pass will get a shot at being promoted for how ever long it takes for them to throw it in
