I've been saying this for years! The NYPD should open a youtube channel to post every single video. It would smash the thought that cops are the problem even remotely close to the majority of the time. Racialism would be become a thing of the past. People like Sharpton would be run out of business so quickly even DeBlasio wouldn't be able to figure out a way to defend him. Imagine if the world actually got to see a cop's view of the West Indian Parade and not just the first 10 minutes when the mayor walks by? Expose the ghetto for what it really is.
Oh, that and tasers. The cops need tasers, every one of them. They can no longer rely on tactics from the beginning of time which are perfectly legal but cause a racialist uproar whenever they are recorded on camera (nearly every time now) trying to apprehend raging animal savages.
Isn't this what the judge ordered in the stop and frisk case against NYC? She ordered that officers were cameras.
I remember occupy wall street. Since protesters filmed everything, officers began filming things too.
I'm wondering how de Blasio's having the NYPD target NYCHA will go. There was already the big bust in the Manhattanville projects. It's been a lot of weeping and wailing from those who thought they'd get to run wild after Bloomberg was out.

Orta? if he has a long rap sheet, then I guess it is what it is, but I do find it interesting and ironic he gets arrested AND all this comes out not too long after this is caught on video AND the death has been ruled a homicide.......I saw the video about garner.....@ most he was frustrated, but he did nothing to provoke the officers.......Im going off facts and common sense.....nothing more....
Garner said he wasn't coming with them and that he always gets busted by the police (31 times before). He said this ends today. He appeared hostile and due to his size that put the officers on edge. All a guy like Garner has to do is fall down on most people.
You'd think after being arrested 31 times at the age of 43 he'd learn to avoid the cops. Unfortunately some people never learn.
Oh, and in cases like this people's stance (such as defending the Garner's and the Ortas) is always a lot more personal than they are to admit.
Thanks for this post. It reminds me why I'm so appreciative of my parents, and strive to be a good one myself. I don't want my kids to ever have to associate with people who have such a racialist world view. By continuing to be able to afford a FAR, FAR from ghetto lifestyle, it becomes much easier to achieve said goal.

Yes, there's bad parenting and bad influences. But if a 43 year old man can't learn from his mistakes (being arrested 31 times) the blame is entirely on him for being stupid as ****. Not on his parents, because even with the worst parents in the world if your brain is functioning you have the capacity to learn from your mistakes. Clearly Garner and his buddy Orta couldn't.

I wouldn't be where I am today if I had a sketchy past. Thankfully, I was encourged to pursue an education and career, and discouraged from engaging in immoral, anti-social behavior which would set me up for an unemployable life of constant deflection and blame. Persons of any race, nationality or creed who live their lives this way are welcome at my table any day of the week.
Your perception of racism stems from my nonconformance with the approved PC precepts of accepting social disorder and defeatist lifestyles common in generational ghetto "families" across this city. Why don't you tell us what you did to have all these problems with the cops and why you persist on doing things that apparently get you in trouble?
It's not secret the anti police champions feel that way because of legal troubles. Look at Orta. So what's the problem?
I didn't have these problems because not only am a criminal, I avoid criminals and those living the thug lifestyle. I don't hang out on the streets.
How is this thread not over 20+ pages long already? I know, because nobody really gives a damn about these criminals, nor should we.
