I don't know about this project, but former school buildings offer high ceilings and huge windows. Also, they could be very solidly built.

For me, it would be great! The layouts don't look too bad and I love that there will be a boys & girls club in the building! For parents, this would be convenient :-)

I just wish it didn't cost me $2500 for a dang lofted studio in West Harlem...

I remember that building was abandoned for a long long time. It had basically become a real blight. Lots of lowlifes and homeless headquartered around there. Are those shady hotels still up the block from there?
