This is why people ought to stop worrying about blacks...literally no matter what you do, black people will complain about you!!!

No group has done more for blacks than the Jews (unless you want to remember the tens of thousands of Union dead)...but even they get the same ol' race-card pulled on them constantly!!!

Let that (UP THERE) be a lesson to all the lefties!! You'll NEVER satisfy the black community...there's just this deep inner hole in them that can NEVER be filled unless of course they ruin every last good thing about modern civilization there is!!!

This Amazon business is strictly about rent and transit for us normies. I don't know why you wanna keep injecting race into this but honestly no one non-black really gives two brown feces about that!!!

Will you get higher rent -- right away, even before HQ2 opens? Yes!

Will mass transit get much, much worse? Guaranteed!

What's to be "torn" over???

Nope -- Venezuela was due to its one-trick (undiversified) economy, oil...when oil prices tanked, everything went south.

It was built on high oil prices alone. Of course, political nepotism in staffing the state oil company didn't help 'cause when the feces hit the fan you didn't have experienced experts around who at least had a chance of figuring something out. But all that's nothing to do with corporate taxes.

Should have worked out a deal???

You do realize that Amazon simply dictated their terms -- that's just their long-standing MO/SOP!

And Amazon's $150K jobs were always gonna go to outsiders -- Amazon, like all FAANG/FAAMG companies, recruits from an international labor force...their tests (yes, you know, tests, like in school, but worse) are hard -- even with affirmative action points for so-called diversity!!

LOL...we should deport the feces-hole folks...no, seriously; this is a modern economy we've got here and it'll be mostly automated soon, too -- no need for peasants like before, especially from countries without a legacy of civilization!

I have issues with all sides of this......

The fact that DeBlasio and Cuomo negotiated a deal as humongous as this in secret is not a good look.

The critics of Amazon, including my own representative, who are so principled, but fail to take a pragmatic view to this, and fail to consider that the Amazon deal could have been, at the least, tailored to suit the needs that are truly in the best interests of the community, as opposed to wanting to drive Amazon out, altogether.

And Amazon, itself. Colin Powell once told a conference: "Capital, is a coward...It does not want to be around conflicts. It does not want to be around political unpredictability or instability. It goes where it is welcome and where investors can be confident of a return on the resources they have put at risk." I'm sure an entity like Amazon follows that mantra, but still wanted to choose New York, knowing it was going to get the type of opposition it got when the deal was made public.

Well, well! You read just fine -- when it comes to corporate propaganda!!

Charter schools can dump all the biggest losers on the public schools. And ghetto kids are still doing poorly -- it's just that the worst of them get dumped to the public schools, with the leftovers getting test answers as necessary!!!

I guess you saw the number $1 billion and got excited. So Instead of Amazon's much much much bigger tax income plus NON-unionized Google, we now have Google.

Cool story bro. Of course employers this size are two a penny. No doubt National Sawdust Corp. will step in and provide 25,000 jobs right next to Queensbridge Houses. Or Purdue Abbatoirs perhaps.

Why do you quote Amazon's own sales brochure as God's own truth??
