This has been happening out west when the sherriff showed up to evict someone. I wanna say Portland or seattle.

The idea you can pack people like sardines in a can in and airplane but can't offer spaced out indoor dining in a restaurant is insane.

It looks like different airlines have differ policies regarding seating;

This is what I don’t like about covid policies, they are so very arbitrary.
Ive also read stories that say that some flights are packed. I guess it depends on the carrier and their seating policy.

I wont speak for Cuomo, but for Deblasio I believe deep down many within the far left circles he seems to listen to believe restaurants, like art galleries and live music, are gentrification drivers, not to mention a sign of borgeouis values. I believe the idea is to piledrive the restaurant industry so as to lower NYC's appeal to the monied classes and thus stop gentrification.

That may be true but I’d feel more comfortable in a restaurant, where I can leave at any time, as apposed being trapped in close quarters on a plane.
Also I don’t like the fact that the rules for different entities are totally arbitrary and based on who has the best lobbyists.

He actually said it last round. He said he wasn't concerned with restaurants because dining out is for rich people. As with everything else that idiot says, he's wrong of course, not to mention callous considering it isn't rich people working in the restaurants or in most cases, even owning them.

Only time will tell if they organize in masse. I feel so sorry for their pain...

It happened in Staten Island. But more restaurants need to join in.

This really needed to happen in March-April, to shut down Cuomo early and hard. Now he's established the precedent that he can shut things down, and the sheep will obediently go along.

On another hand.
Imagine people stop wasting money on useless dining out, cooking at home, saving money, paying off cc debt and having actual savings for property purchases??
I know I know. Hard to imagine. Life just wouldn’t be worth living now would it.
