^^ I completely agree. I have college friends who are stuck in 1989 with the long hair/metal guy look. I still like to listen to that music but I don't make it my life. I've also become Facebook friends with long time family friends (they are my cousins cousins, not actually related to me) and one of them is constantly looking for validation on her body. She lost a lot of weight and looks fantastic but how many times do we have to tell her? The bathroom selfies are just out of control.

I only friend real friends so I haven't haven't had a lot of issues but:

The ones who talk about political stuff (like another candidate would be flawless). Extremely annoying.

And the ones who constantly say things like they're better than everyone else (ie. "Don't you love when people...").

Removed.

As for "interacting with friends in real life and having no need for FB"... grow up with a family and see how much time you have left for all your friends in person. Or them for you. FB has its uses.

The problem then isn't Facebook, but the people you choose to associate with.

No high school drama on Facebook for me.

What bugs me on FB are vague one line status posts where someone will comment and ask what's wrong, and then the original poster say's 'I"ll pm you the details'..

wth?

I found this inconsiderate and just another form of aggravation that I didn't need in my life.

My real friends I interact with directly, and I prefer this.
I hear ya. I've had 2 relatives seek me out and 'friend' me on FB but when I wrote to them, they never responded. I don't know why they friended me in the first place.

That might be a joke. "Fix it Jesus" is one of those memes going around, based on a chick from a reality show who said this sorta sarcastically once. LOL

Unfortunately I can't find a clip of when he goes into the diner and says, "Large Marge sent me"
