How's the new place? What renovating are you doing? Wish I could help. I love doing those
I'm kind of in a reading slump. I am reading 2 books but just not getting far. I read maybe 30 pages a day and I get sidetracked. I guess it is understandable. In a week we will be traveling to get married and then big visit with family. Anyway lots of prep work...lawns, cleaning, and getting clothes ready.
I recently went through my friend list and remember a few, but those who I haven't found any posts in the last several months or year or so, I deleted since they seem to have disappeared. I won't accept just anyone, but it makes ya wonder why right after you do accept their request they stop posting. Maybe they just wanted to see your profile since most of us it's private?

There's not much in my profile, so that would be a disappointment.
The first person I asked to be my C-D friend turned me down. He said that he didn't befriend new members because they didn't stick around. That was in the 2000s. It's not like it costs anything. If someone likes me enough to send a request, they're in. Think about it. Some people are rather shy, and asking is a big deal for them. Some just want a long list, but I don't care. This isn't my real day to day life.
Reminds me of being young and asking someone to dance. They say they don't dance. Ten minutes later they're out on the floor with someone else. Yeah.

I get friendship requests sometimes from folks I have no idea who they are. Not people I have even seen in various threads. I always refuse those. I think sometimes some folks just want to take a look at photos and such in my file. I have a lot, and I assume, only friends can see them. I'm not sure really.......
Anyone knows what happened? His last post was a month ago. He was very much liked here on C-D.
He does tend to have a break from the forums, every so often. Hope he is ok.
