As we all go on and on and on about mostly trivial differences between our two metros. We should all remember what make any place truly great. It's people.

I actually have been on this farm and briefly met Mr Brown. When he first purchased his farm and was doing renovations. I had no idea what he was planning. I'm glad to have met someone who's doing great things for North Carolina.

Best Steak Restaurants in the US, According To OpenTable - Business Insider

Best Steakhouses in America accoring to OpenTable.

Capital Grill and Beef 'N Bottle make the list from Charlotte, and BIN 54 in Chapel Hill.

Not sure I agree with Capital Grill, never eaten at the other two places. But I'm no food critic!

Where's the Angus Barn when you need em.

Beef N Bottle sounds interesting.

Just looked at Beef n Bottle site. Looks like a cool place. Will have to check it out. Looks like I found a QC original.

I've heard only good things about the Angus Barn. Well with the exception of the price. I think I'm probably the only Raleigh native left who has never been there. I'm saving it for a special occasion. Like winning the lotto or something.
